Buzzing off for 7-year-old Carah
Judy Wakefield
Jim and Roz Primmer, former 18-year Andover residents now of North Andover, are participating in the One Mission Kid's Cancer Buzz Off at Gillette Stadium on June 3. They are shaving their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer. Their 7-year-old granddaughter, Carah, is undergoing chemotherapy at Children's Hospital for Type B Diffuse Cell Lymphoma.
Money raised during the Buzz Off pays for programs and services at Children's Hospital Boston that "provide help, hope, care and support to kids and families battling cancer."
"On June 3 we will become Buzzees. My fundraising goal is $1,000 and I need your help," Jim Primmer wrote in an email.
You can make a donation to his fundraising page at firstgiving.com/fundraiser/jimprimmer/kidscancerbuzz-off/.
If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to One Mission Kids Cancer Buzz-Off and send it to Jim Primmer, 224 South Bradford St., North Andover, MA 01845.
