Your fundraising campaign may consist of letters you send in the mail and/or email. Your letter should grab the recipient's attention plus give the donor information on how the Kid's Cancer Buzz-Off helps children and their families fighting cancer. Reference the "How We Help" section to give your donors specific examples of what One Mission will do with their donation.
Some important things to consider when drafting your letters or email:
- Be personal and passionate about what you write
- Explain why you are getting involved – include a story about a specific person or event
- Tell recipient how their donation will be making a difference in the lives of children with cancer
- Ask for the donation and provide instructions on how they should make a donation (i.e. include the link to your personal fundraising page or give them instructions on how/where to submit a check)
